This iPlant Focus Forum webinar will feature the Next Generation Sequencing Eclipse Plugin (NGSEP). NGSEP is an integrated framework for analysis of high throughput sequencing reads. The software's main functionality is the variants detector, which allows users to perform integrated discovery and genotyping of Single Nucleotide Variants, insertions, deletions, and genomi regions with copy number variation. The NGSEP suite of tools will be available through the iPlant Discovery Environment in November prior to this webinar. More information about NGSEP is available at sourceforge.
Focus Forums webinars are offered on various topics and are designed to enhance users’ experience with iPlant platforms. They give users an opportunity to interact with iPlant staff to discuss “best practices” for performing analyses, troubleshooting any potential difficulties, and using our Ask Forum to resolve issues and connect with the community.
During the year, topics may focus on any iPlant science area or service, or using and developing for any platform. Users may suggest and vote for webinar topics through the Ask Forum.
Who Should Attend?
This webinar is open to people who are using iPlant resources and want to learn more about the specific topic. Users are encouraged to post questions and problems encountered to the Ask Forum for discussion during the webinar.
